Kaad kaapi-Glochidion ellipticum Wt

Kaad kaapi (Glochidion ellipticum Wt) one of the native trees in Kodagu grows up to 8 m tall. A small tree with brownish bark it cracks when mature and the inner bark is pinkish in colour. The flowers are small and white.
