Anil Annaiah is a multidisciplinary creative professional whose work spans filmmaking, photography, writing, environmental storytelling, wellbeing and social-impact communication. He is the innovator and founder of Camera Yoga™, a mindful creative practice that combines visual observation, reflection, journaling and self-discovery.

Anil is an experienced filmmaker and visual storyteller who has worked with 150+ clients across more than 25 industries. His work has included films and visual communication for corporate, social-development, healthcare, education and cultural organisations.
Innovator & Founder – Camera Yoga™
Camera Yoga™ evolved from Anil’s long-standing engagement with photography, nature, reflection and environmental conservation.
The practice uses the everyday camera and the act of seeing as tools for mindful engagement, observation, reflection and wellbeing.

Anil’s filmmaking work includes cultural, social-impact and commercial productions.
He directed a biographical film on Krantiveera Sri Sangolli Rayanna for the 13-acre Veerabhoomi Museum at Nandagad, Karnataka.
His portfolio also includes advertising films, social-impact projects, an award-winning documentary on autism, and five telefilms across six languages.
Podcast Creator and Host
Anil is the creator and host of ANIL ANNAIAH | ME THE CHANGEMAKER, a podcast featuring conversations and perspectives on life, change and human potential.
His YouTube channel, @anilannaiah, contains 1,000+ uploads, creating a substantial digital archive of his work covering conversations, nature films, Camera Yoga™ and creative practice.
Recognition and Milestones
In 2026, Anil was recognised as an Eco Hero through The Times of India Ecopreneur initiative. He was also nominated for the Times Internet Ecopreneur Awards 2026 in the categories of Community-led Sustainability and Education & Awareness Initiatives.
His entrepreneurial initiative Brand Radianz – Me The Changemaker was part of IIM Bangalore NSRCEL’s Launchpad / Pre-Incubation programme in 2018.
His engagement with nature, art and conservation has continued for more than a decade, with Earth Day 2026 marking the 13th consecutive year of this creative environmental journey.

The book extends the Camera Yoga™ philosophy into an accessible practice centred on observation, reflection, journaling and discovery.
