Kanni kamba is the pillar in an ancestral home that is sacred to the kaarona, the founder of the clan.
About
This kamba is considered holy and is worshiped by the related family members in the name of the founder of their clan. Usually the pillar near kanni kombare is considered as kanni kamba.
In an Ainmane the ancestral house with an open central courtyard, it is generally the pillar in the south-west corner of the house.
If it is without a central courtyard, it is generally the first pillar to the left of the steps leading to the veranda of the house.
