Parngi chekke – Pineapple
Parngi chekke is referred to Pineapple in Kodava thakk. Pineapples grow from 1.0 to 1.5m tall and are used in cuisines all around the world. This fruit is botanically called as “Ananas Comosus”. This fruit is usually pollinated by hummingbirds and certain wild pineapples by bats at night.
Pineapple promotes healthy complexion, decreases risk of obesity, heart disease, diabetes, Asthama, Cancer, Blood Pressure, etc.,
