Uppali mara

Uppali mara (Margaritariaindica( Dalz.) A. Shaw)one of the native trees in kodagu grows  up to 25 m tall.Rare tree  scattered in primary forests,the Outer bark  is brown, red-brown or orange-brown, smooth and finely cracked, flaking in places or peeling strongly and the  inner bark  is pink, white or pale brown.
