Moovera B. Kalappa

Moovera B. Kalappa (served 1930–1946) was a Kodava Army veteran of the British Indian Army and a decorated veteran of the Second World War. He served in the Burma campaign during World War II and was awarded the Order of British India (OBI). In recognition of his distinguished service, he was also conferred the honorific title Sardar Bahadur.
