About
Uthappa was born on September 24th, 1957 in Pachat Village of Hachinad near Virajpet in South Kodagu. Upon completing his education around Hachinad, he joined the Indian Army in July 1978. After serving in multiple locations across India for close to 25 years, he retired from the services in April 2003. Uthappa is currently enjoying his retired life besides being an agriculturist.
