Taega mara – Teak
Taega mara (Tectonagrandis L) one of the native trees in Kodagu which grows up to 40 m tall with gray to grayish brown branches. Known for their finest quality wood and occurs in mixed hardwood forests. It has fragrant white flowers and large papery leaves that are often hairy on the lower surface.

Uses
