Kodandera Madappa Nanjappa

Kodendera Madappa Nanjappa was the younger brother of field Marshal Kodandera M Cariappa.

Family

He joined the Imperial Bank of India and rose to a high position before 1947.
He was appointed as the Secretary and Treasurer of the state bank of India in 1947.
After his retirement from the state Bank of India which became a public sector Bank and official Bank for all Government transactions.
He became the Chairman and Managing Director of Indian Overseas Bank and later he was the Chairman & Managing Director for Allahabad Bank.
