Hachinar
Hachinar (Celtis tetrandra)is one of the native trees in kodagu which grows up to to 20 m.It flower’s in April, and the seeds ripen in October and are pollinated by Bees. It prefers well-drained soil and can grow in nutritionally poor soil. It cannot grow in the shade and prefers dry or moist soil and can tolerate drought.
