Kadh

Kadh is referred to ear-head of paddy. This part is the central stem of the plant where tightly packed row of flowers grow. Eventually, these become edible seed.

On the day of Puthari festival, a custom of cutting Kadh takes place; where Kadh are cut and taken home. They are tied in front of the house, Kitchen, Nellakki Nadubaade, cow shed etc.,

This festival is celebrated in the honour of annual rice harvest and getting the harvested Paddy home.
