Chenanda A. Kuttappa
Subedar Chenanda A. Kuttappa a sportsperson from Kodagu based in Mysore is an Army coach who has been associated with Indian boxing for more than a decade. He was the coach for Vijender Singh who won a Bronze Medal in 2008 Beijing Olympics. Kuttapa was credited by Vijender Singh for guiding him after winning the medal for the country. Kuttappa is selected as the chief National Boxing Coach.

Achievements
- He has been selected to coach the elite Indian men’s boxing team which is currently training in France. The Indian contingent will train in France until July 24.
- He has trained Olympic medallist Vijender Singh and more recently accompanied the Indian Boxing men’s team that participated at Rio Olympics 2016 and Asian Championship held at Tashkent, Uzbekistan in May 2017.
- He received the Dronacharya Award in 2018 which is presented to coaches for their outstanding and meritorious work on a consistent basis over a period of four years.
