Education
He did his Schooling in Government Higher primary school, Ammathi, St Annes Higher secondary School, Virajpet. Completed his PUC in St Alloysius College, Mangalore and graduated as a veterinarian from veterinary college Hebbal, Bangalore.
Career
- He Joined the Government service as an Assistant veterinary Surgeon in October 1967. Later he took Voluntary retirement from Government service as Assistant director of Animal Husbandry and veterinary services.
- He owned a pet care clinic to serve the general public in the year 1997 to 2012.
- He served as an veterinary doctor in Somwarpet, Kudige, Kushalnagar, Ammathi, Gonikoppal, Ponnampet and Virajpet.
- As the Chairperson the committee’s responsibility was to monitor and regulate all the clinical trials, studies, research, activities that took place in the institution and to safe guard the interests of human trial subjects.
- He visited many places like Greece, Turkey, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, England, Vietnam, Cambodia, France, Kualalumpur and Dubai.

Awards
- He was awarded the best veterinarian for Karnataka in the year 1996.
- He was awarded the L.C.I Monarch Chevron award for 35 years of dedicated service in Lionism by Lions Club International USA in the year 2014.
