In general Bronze alloys are made up of 88% copper and 12% tin and are highly variable in composition. Two types of Bronze were commonly used in Bronze Age – Classic Bronze and mild bronze; Classic Bronze has got 10% tin and mild Bronze has 6% tin. They are the good conductor of heat compared to most steels. The melting point of Bronze is about 950 degree Celsius.

They are used in various fields like making coins, ship propellers, submerged bearings, statues, Industry, Mirrors, Musical Instruments, coins and medals, etc.,
