Maletira Dhyan Chinnappa
Maletira Dhyan Chinnappa was a senior advocate of Kodagu. He is one of the founding partners of CrestLaw Partners, a law firm in Bangalore. He has been appointed as the Additional Advocate General of Dharwad Bench of the High Court. Dhyan’s experience spans more than fourteen years during which time he has done extensive work in the areas of civil, commercial, intellectual property and public law litigation in various fora including the Supreme Court, State High Courts, Company Law Board, and various other tribunals, where he has appeared as lead counsel.

- He graduated with a B.A.L., LL.B. degree from the University Law College, Bangalore, and was the first rank holder for the Bangalore University.
- He completed his Post-graduation from London in 2002.
Achievements
- He was the first and only student from India to be awarded the Shell Centenary Scholarship in the year 2002 to study for the LL.M., at University College, London.
- Dhyan was enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India and is a non-practicing Solicitor of England & Wales.
- He has specialised knowledge in the law relating to domestic and international arbitration. Dhyan is highly rated by Chambers Asia and Asia Legal 500.
- Chinappa, who according to B&B is the youngest designated lawyer in this batch, started his career with Dua Associates and re-joined the firm after obtaining his LLM from ULC London in 2003. He set up Crest in 2006.
