They usually grow during the monsoon season.<\/p>\n<h3>Ingredients:<\/h3>\n<p>Nuchhi Kumm- 1kg&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-957 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Kum-300x209.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"209\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Kum-300x209.jpg 300w, https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Kum-768x534.jpg 768w, https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Kum.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><br \/>\nCoconut -3\/4<br \/>\nCumin seed \u2013 1tsp<br \/>\nOnion \u2013 1(Finely Chopped)<br \/>\nGreen chillies \u2013 3-4<br \/>\nMustard seed -1tsp<br \/>\nTamrind \u2013 marble sized<br \/>\nCoriander powder<br \/>\nSalt<\/p>\n<h3>Method:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Clean and wash the Mushrooms well.<\/li>\n<li>Grind the coconut, cumin seed and Tamarind to a fine paste.<\/li>\n<li>Heat a pan with little oil and add the mustard seeds, green chilies and the onions and Fry till the onions turn golden brown. Then add the mushrooms with salt and cook for 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>After the mushroom is cooked add the ground coconut masala and then add the coriander powder and let it boil for 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Remove and serve hot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Best Eaten<\/h2>\n<p>Kumm curry is best eaten with <a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/akki-otti-flat-bread-made-of-cooked-rice-rice-flour\/\">Akki otti<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nuchhi Kumm is a variety of kumm (mushroom) which are usually found in the coffee estates.
