The verandah is open on 3 sides and has narrow pillars which extend the full breadth of the house. The <a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/thethi\/\">thethi<\/a> is only to the south of the house. This is the original <a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/kodava-ainmanes\/\">ainmane <\/a>except, the hall was extended to include the old verandah.<\/p>\n<p>The verandah has simple door frame, a simple barred window and six pillars with no carvings. The four old carved pillars to the east of the extended hall have carvings of lotus.
