He held senior positions in <a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/civil-services\/\">Indian civil service<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Education<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Post graduate in Economics and Bachelor of law from Mysore University<\/li>\n<li>Post graduate Diploma in management from Swedish institute of Management, Sweden<\/li>\n<li>Master\u2019s Degree in advanced Management from BANF school of Management, Canada<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Achievements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>He was Commissioned into 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Bn,1<sup>st<\/sup> grade Gurkha Rifles in 1964 and served in the forward area in Jammu &amp; Kashmir.<\/li>\n<li>In 1965 he served in the Sialkot sector. During his service he qualified &nbsp;in the competitive&nbsp; examination for IAS and was allotted to the Karnataka Cadre.<\/li>\n<li>He held the senior positions both in Secretariat and in various state Government Public Undertakings.<\/li>\n<li>He was the Principal Secretary to the Government Home and Transport Department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Naleyanda A Muthanna was an I.A.S(Indian Administrative Service) officer from Kodagu.
