Two infants of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/iychettira-okka\/\">Ichettira okka<\/a>&nbsp;were saved by servants and taken to the Ballachanda house where they were brought up. They revived the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/iychettira-okka\/\">Ichettira okka<\/a>, since the ancestors of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/iychettira-okka\/\">Ichettira okka<\/a>&nbsp;and of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/ballachanda-okka\/\">Ballachanda okka<\/a>&nbsp;were like brothers. Therefore, there are no&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/intermarriages-between-the-okkas\/\">intermarriages<\/a>&nbsp;between these two&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/okka\/\">Okkas<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/battiyanda-okka\/\">Battiyanda<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/cheyyanda-okka\/\">Cheyyanda<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/battakalanda-okka\/\">Battakalanda<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/elthanda-okka\/\">Elthanda<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3>Biddanda &#8211; Kadira<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>one Biddanda lady was married to Kadira ooka and her husband died there and Biddanda ajja adopted her family so from then no intermarriage,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/boppanda-okka\/\">Boppanda<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/kulletira\/\">Kullettira<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/kulletira\/\">Kulletira,<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/mane-pedha\/\">Amman\u1e0da<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/mane-pedha\/\">Boppan\u1e0da<\/a>&nbsp;ajjas were great friends and would sometimes stay in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/kulletira\/\">Kulletira<\/a>&nbsp;house. Once, in a mad frenzy,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/kulletira\/\">Kulletira<\/a>&nbsp;Ponna\u1e47\u1e47a ajja killed&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/mane-pedha\/\">Boppan\u1e0da<\/a>&nbsp;Kuttannajja (son of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/karona-moolapurasha\/\">kara\u1e47ava<\/a>&nbsp;Uthayya). Kuttannajja became a ku\u1e0di beera.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/buttianda-okka\/\">Buttianda<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/kambeeranda-okka\/\">Kambeeranda<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Berera &#8211; Mundachadira<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Berera &#8211; Cholanda<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Berera &#8211; Bairetira<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/chenanda-okka\/\">Chenanda &#8211; <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/palanganda-okka\/\">Palanganda<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>When the members of the Palanganda&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/okka\/\">okka<\/a>&nbsp;in Kirndad &nbsp;were killed by the Raja, only one pregnant woman who was not in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/kodava-ainmanes\/\">ainmane<\/a>&nbsp;survived.<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/mane-pedha\/\">&nbsp;Chenanda<\/a>&nbsp;Madayya kuthik nindiya (makka paraje) and their children revived the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/mane-pedha\/\">Palanganda&nbsp;<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/okka\/\">okka<\/a>.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/mane-pedha\/\">Palanganda<\/a>&nbsp;people join during festivals celebrated here The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/mane-pedha\/\">Palanganda<\/a>&nbsp;in Kirndad (they have no&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/kodava-ainmanes\/\">ainmane<\/a>&nbsp;now, only&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/kaimada\/\">kaimada<\/a>) therefore have two&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/karona-moolapurasha\/\">Karanavas<\/a>, one is&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/chenanda-okka\/\">Chenanda<\/a>&nbsp;and the other is Palanganda. For this reason, there are no&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/intermarriages-between-the-okkas\/\">intermarriages<\/a>&nbsp;between&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/chenanda-okka\/\">Chenanda<\/a>&nbsp;and Palanganda&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/okka\/\">Okka<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Chowrira &#8211; Kongettira<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/codanda\/\">Codanda<\/a> &#8211; Mathanda<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Subedar Codanda Madiah&#8217;s brother Appayya was an able man with long arms extending upto his knees. Everyone was killed in this incident except one ajja who had gone for hunting. To take revenge, this ajja killed 8 of the Nayaka\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/okka\/\">Okka<\/a>, but later he was killed in the encounter. Only one girl from the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/okka\/\">Okka<\/a>&nbsp;who was married to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/iychettira-okka\/\">Iychettira<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/okka\/\">Okka<\/a>&nbsp;came back to her son and started this&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/okka\/\">Okka<\/a>&nbsp;again. The only male left in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/okka\/\">Okka<\/a>&nbsp;died by a tiger attack when he had gone to cut&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/bothh-kuthuvo\/\">both<\/a>&nbsp;for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/kavery-sankramana\/\">Kavery Sankramana<\/a>. His last daughter was married to a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/muruvanda-okka\/\">Muruvanda<\/a> man who adopted the Jammada manepedha following the custom of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/different-types-of-mangala\/\"><i>okka<\/i> <i>paraje <\/i><\/a>and continued this&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/okka\/\">Okka<\/a>. Therefore there is no&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/intermarriages-between-the-okkas\/\">intermarriage<\/a>&nbsp;between Jammada and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/muruvanda-okka\/\">Muruvanda Okkas<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/karthanda-okka\/\">Karthanda<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/meriyanda-okka\/\">Meriyanda<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>When&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/karthanda-okka\/\">Karthanda&nbsp;Okka<\/a>&nbsp;was becoming extict, Merriyanda Bheemaiah married the last&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/karthanda-okka\/\">Karthanda<\/a>&nbsp;girl and became Mannk Nindiya for this&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/okka\/\">Okka<\/a>. His son Nanjunda had seven sons and four daughters who were bought up by Meriyanda&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/okka\/\">Okka<\/a>. Hence there are no&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/intermarriages-between-the-okkas\/\">intermarriages<\/a>&nbsp;between these two&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/okka\/\">Okkas<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Ketolira- Bachamanda<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Kookanda &#8211; Madrira<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/madrira-okka\/\">Madrira<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/maneyapanda\/\">Maneyapanda<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Mallangada &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/cheppudira-okka\/\">Chepudira <\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/mandepanda-okka\/\">Mandepanda &#8211; <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/kopuda-okka\/\">Kopuda<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>A man from Porimanda family married a lady from Mandepanda&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/okka\/\"><em>okka<\/em><\/a>.They had only one daughter named somavva who later on became the&nbsp;<em>Karanachi<\/em>&nbsp;of Mandepanda&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/okka\/\">okka<\/a>. She was married to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/kopuda-okka\/\">Kopuda<\/a>&nbsp;Belliappa. She gave birth to three children and became a widow. Later somavva returned to Mandepanda land, her mother\u2019s house was destroyed. so she became a foster daughter to Mandepanda Muthanna.&nbsp; Muthanna died as a bachelor and later muthanna\u2019s brother subbaiah gave a portion of land and helped them to build a house.
