There were quarrels between the Chiriyappan\u1e0da ajjas and four of them left and set up their own <a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/kodava-ainmanes\/\">ainmanes <\/a>about 100 years ago &#8211; in Kanoor, Balaji, Ni\u1e0dugumbe (Ba\u1e37ele), and Nalkeri. Now only the original one in Kirgoor and this one in Kanoor (which is separate from the other 4 bhagas) remain. However, the Kirgoor one now belongs to one bhaga there and it is no longer an <a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/kodava-ainmanes\/\">ainmane<\/a> &#8211; no one goes there for any festival or functon. All the other four bhagas, except this branch in Kanoor, get together only for <a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/karona-moolapurasha\/\">karanang kodpa<\/a> in Kirgoor.<\/p>\n<p>Many years ago, there was a difference of opinion between members of this branch, and they stopped celebrating <a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/karona-moolapurasha\/\">karanang kodpa<\/a> for some years. Later, they started celebrating it in one of their houses.
