He was graduated from St. Aloysius College and later joined Madras Medical College in 1920, and obtained first rank. He was one of the bright students during those days<\/p>\n<h2>Achievements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>1933 &#8211; Began his service as a doctor in Coorg and in few years he became famous and was well recognized by each individual.<\/li>\n<li>1945 &#8211; First person to become a <a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/doctors\/\">Civil Surgeon<\/a> in Kodagu<\/li>\n<li>Served as <a href=\"https:\/\/kodavaclan.com\/kodaguheritage\/doctors\/\">civil surgeon<\/a> from 1945 to 1958<\/li>\n<li>1958 &#8211; Was appointed as Deputy Director of Medical Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During his service, Government hospitals were in a very good condition and each hospital in coorg had obtained name and fame for its cleanliness and effective service.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Theethira Medappa, an eminent kodava born in 1906, did his schooling at Hudikeri School, Virajpet High school and Madikeri High school.
