Thuliya<\/h3>\n

A thuliya is the cylindrical container made of woven bamboo<\/a> strips or reed to store paddy.<\/p>\n

About<\/h3>\n

It is usually cylindrical in shape and is plastered with mud. The base on which structure is constructed is made out of reeds or stone slabs or bricks. This method is used for both storing and drying. Usually recommended size for small granaries is around 2-5 mtrs wide and 1-2 mtrs high.<\/p>\n
