  Theethira. Subbaiah<\/strong><\/p>\n

Theethira Subbaiah  an eminent lawyer<\/a> hailed from Harihara village, of Virajpet Taluk.<\/p>\n

After his early education in Kodagu he got an employment in Bombay where he qualified himself in Law.<\/p>\n

He set up his practice in Virajpet as advocate<\/a> in 1954 and had good practice earned a name in Criminal and Civil Law. He was attracted to the socialist ideas and was active in politics with leftist orientation. He was a Municipal counciller of Virajpet. He was the Vice-President for four terms from 1970 to 74.<\/p>\n

To commemorate his memory, his family has donated a modern fully equiped Computer Centre at the Bar Association, Virajpet.<\/p>\n
