lawyer<\/a> born in 1908 at Arapattu Village, Napoklu nad to Sri. Machaiah and Smt. Bollamma had his early education in Kodagu and got his degree in law in 1921 from Trivandrum set up practice in Virajpet in 1932 and played a prominent part in professional and public life. He was Muncipal Councillor and President of Virajpet Muncipality (1937-44) and a member of Coorg Legislative council from 1939 to 44. In 1945 he was appointed by the Government of Indian in Indian Foreign Service in USA.<\/p>\nOn coming back he resumed his practice in 1962 and led a very active life his demise in 1990.<\/p>\n
He served as the President of Virajpet Bar Association in 1968-69. In recognition of his long meritorious service for over 50 years as an Advocate, he was honored by the Bar Association on 19.11.1983 in a memorable function, in presence of Hon\u2019ble Mr.Justice Rama Jois, Judge of High Court of Karnataka.<\/p>\n
