Thirolo <\/span><\/p>\n

Oork oru Maadeva, Kerik oru Aiyappa, vodek oru naatha, Vonik oru Poodha, Vokkak oru guru Karona pinja Kuliya  <\/em>are the typical guardians of the kodava tribes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These Spirits entering the body of human beings in Kodagu is a common phenomena and they generate complete positive energy. these Spirits which guide the fellow tribal men are invited by the people to take right guidance periodically.<\/span><\/p>\n

The activity is called thirola bappo<\/em> !!<\/span><\/p>\n

Almost every Village has its own STHANA<\/em> <\/span>location identified for the place where the spirits are invited. Usually these locations are now merged with the local bagavathi or aiyappa temples<\/a>. earlier days it would be a tree which could accommodate these deity and guide the tribesmen.<\/p>\n
