Theethamada Arjun Devaiah a sportsperson is an International acclaimed Athlete who was born in Kodagu. He is one of the first kodava to hoist a Indian National Flag in Pakistan and Only person in the Indian history to hold both these records(National Record holder in 4 X 100 Mtrs & 4 X 400 Mtrs) at one single time. Mr. Arjun Devaiah from Basaveshwaranagar, Bangalore is a State National record holder and an International athlete who shifted his track from Athletics for youth empowerment,development & poverty eradication. He is also a motivational guru, student counselor and mentor and a corporate soft skills trainer.He started as an Athlete at the age of 19 and went on to become the sprint king .

Multi talented Arjun Devaiah has also acted in a movie and gets enlisted in the Kodava actors list

His kodava movie Kodagina sepoy was a big hit in the kodava circle.

Achievements

• He was the National Champion in 200 Mtrs & 400 Mtrs running track events.
• He won the 200 mts South Asian Games Gold, held at Islamabad Pakistan,
• Gold in Malaysian International meet.
• Gold in Singapore International Meet .
• Silver in Asian Athletics S
• National Record holder in 100 Mtrs & 4 X 400 Mtrs. relay running.
