Putharira Rishank Nanjappa a sportsperson was born on 1^st April 2002 in Madikeri, Kodagu. He is a National level shooter. He started this sport at a very young age and participated in many shooting event in Kodagu and won a number of medals.

• He won a team gold medal at the State level shooting event- 50 Metre open Sight Conducted by Bangalore State Rifle Association
• He won Bronze medal in 10 Air rifle open sight youth
• He won Bronze medal 50 Metre open sight Junior
• He has been selected to participate in the J V Mavalankar Shooting Championship in Chennai.
• Participated in national level shooting competition in All India Sainik Camp, New Delhi
