Features

9 roomed Machetira Ainmane has got a large hall with simple hanging lamp, a triangular gud with Lamp, a bhasma kutt and two odi kathis.

The panel above the door to the hall has Beautiful stylized carving of Gajalakshmi, carvings of Elephants flanking and attendants on either side. One of the old window in the Ainmane has beautiful carving of stylized birds and carvings of beautiful intricate lotuses on the top panel of the capitols.

The eastern wall of the hall has a large aimara and a cemented pillar to the left of the steps to the veranda. The entire house has cowdung washed mud floors.

• In 2010, the tiles in the roof were repaired, and the veranda, kanni kombare and thethi were cemented.
