Several kodava politicians have served kodagu since independence the list of MLAs is as follows

Several kodavas have served as MLA s in Kodagu ever since independence while the first batch of MLAs were while Kodagu was a C state till 1956. The rest have served in the Karnataka state in Virajpet,  Somwarpet and Marcera constituency
