Kolera S Thimmaiah ( Dikki )

• K.S THIMMAIAH (1944 – 1993)

Belonging to Kolera family, Sri.K.S.Thimmaiah, affectionately called as “DIKKI” was a very lovable, friendly and efficient  Advocate who joined Virajpet Bar in 1968.

He had his schooling at Ponnampet and degree in Arts and Law from Bangalore University. He was the Secretary of the Virajpet  Bar Association for 5 terms from 1975 to 1979.

He was an active Lion and served as the President of Gonikoppal Lion Club, the District Secretary and District Cabinet member of Lions, when fate snatched him away his prime days during September 1983. In his memory his family has endowed a scholarship for the children of members of Bar Association of Virajpet, which is awarded annually since 1985 in his remembrance.

His portrait was unveiled by Hon’ble Mr. Justice A.K. Laxmeshwar on 21.1.1985 at the Bar Association.
