“Kattole” is referred to door frame. A rectangular frame into which a door is fitted.

About

The door attached to this frame has got a moving mechanism and are used to block off and allow access to entrance. Frames are constructed by using several methods, few among them are cope and stick, mortise and tenon, bridle joint, etc., among these cope and stick is the most common method and mortise and tenon is the strongest method while bridle joint is used less often.
