Kanjithanda Okka

About the Okka

Ages ago, when there was a famine, this Okka served Kanji to those who didn’t have food and thereafter people used to call them as Kanji thandainga. Eventually they got the name Kanjithanda.

Intermarriage

Since two brothers from Kanjithanda Okka stood for Nambudumda Okka there is no intermarriage between these two Okkas.
