Kadambutt

Kadambutt is a steamed rice dumpling.One of the best combination with Pandi curry.

Ingredients:                                                                                  

Kadambutt Thari (Fine Akki Thari) – 1 Cup

Water – 2 cups

Salt – ¼ tsp

Method:

Boil  water with salt.

When the water boils add the Thari little by little stirring continuously so that no lumps are formed.

Keep stirring till the Thari is cooked and all the water is absorbed.

Remove from fire and start rolling it into small lime size round balls when it is hot using your palms.

Wrap the balls in a damp muslin cloth and steam it for 20 minutes in the syakala (steamer).
