Dr Mukkatira Soumya Ganesh Nanaiah is Consultant & MD Lopamudra Drishti Eye Hospital, Kodagu. She is an eye specialist with special interest in Cataract and Refractive surgery (LASIK & ICL) and handles a wide variety of complicated & referred cases. She is the first doctor in Kodagu to perform ICL implantation and SFIOL Surgeries. She has received various national and international awards for her academic work and has contributed to text books on Ophthalmology. She has also been invited to speak at various  national and international platforms. She has in the course of five years,set up eye care centers in Gonicoppal, Virajpet and Hunsur and provides super specialty consultation right in the heart of Coorg. She is a strong and committed doctor with a lot of responsibility and dedication. She has been performing free and subsidized surgeries for economically weak Kodavas in association with Kodava Samaja Bangalore while providing state of he art eye care at the same time.
