Cheppudira Nikki Ponnappa
Cheppudira Nikki Ponnappa a Kodava sportsperson is a Bangalore-based golf enthusiast, most popular for her pro-am win at Satish Memorial Trophy. Nikki was first introduced to golf at the age of 14-15 years by her father, who was then serving in the Indian Army.She is a professional Golfer and certified Coach also a social activist very involved with the Wellness of Kodagu it’s people, animals and ecology.

- She is the Founder of The Coorg Wellness Foundation which was set up in 2014, she is the initiator of the World’s First Barefoot Marathon with her dear friend Milind Soman.
- The Coorg Wellness Foundation over the last 5 years has planted and cared for over 24000 native trees, associated with the Annay Mannay Foundation and the Forest Department to support a study to understand Elephant behaviour to avoid man animal conflict!
- The Foundation is a living breathing foundation, and has always been quick and vigilant in all their social work, be it from supporting 138 kids from landslide areas for their education and boarding, to a Boxing Program for these kids so they can join the army, to supporting displaced people by giving them long term rehabilitation ideas supported by the Foundation, to joint hand with ISHA Foundation for Cauvery Calling Campaign to anything that’s for the Wellness Of Kodagu
