Boverianda Dr. Kiran Kaverappa – Poet, Writer, Lyricist
Boverianda Dr Kiran Kaverappa was born on 8 May 1989, in Kodagu. He is a writer, lyricist and screenwriter and his works are mainly in Kannada. His father Ganesh served in the forest department and mother Anitha worked as a school teacher in Kodagu.

Education
- He did his schooling from St. Michaels institution, Madikeri.
- He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental surgery from JSS Dental College & Hospital, Mysore.
- He has a Master’s degree from V S Dental College & Hospital (KIMS), Bangalore from Rajiv Gandhi Health University.
Achievements
- In 2010, he started collaborating with various bands and started doing jingles and voice-overs for red FM 93.5, Mysore and Radiocity 91.1 FM, Bangalore.
- In 2015, he wrote a song called Namma Karunadu for Karnataka Rajyotsava, composed by Ashic Arun in collaboration with renowned Indian violinist Jyotsna Srikanth, which was featured in the BBC UK show of Ashanti Omkar.
- His first film was the Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu, directed by Hemanth Rao.
- In 2016, he wrote the song Neenire Saniha Neenire, for the blockbuster Kannada movie Kirik Party, which was a hit.
- He was one of many lyricists of Neene, a Kannada music contemporary dance video which went viral all over the south of India
- Neene was appreciated and shared by SS Rajamouli and Gautham Vasudev Menon on social media platforms.
