Allapanda Okka

About the Okka

Bollyappajja, Karanava of Allapanda Okka settled in a land bought from a Brahmin Family in Kedamullur. The other villagers were troubling him so that he leaves the land. They even tried to burn his house but didn’t succeed. To come out of this trouble, Bollpappajji bought powerful Anj Kutt Murthiya from Kerala and installed them behind the house. After this the Okka never faced any problem.

Intermarriage

Their Karanava Bollyappajja was from Mukkattira Okka. It is said that the land bought by him was called by name Allappanda and his Okka took that name. Hence, there is no intermarriage between Mukkatira okka of  Kedamullur and Allappand Okka.
