Aipani
About
“Aipani” is referred to five types of work carried out in paddy fields during the rainy season.
Paddy cultivation is generally carried out on a flooded land for about a month during rainy season with depth of water more than 50 cm. India is the fourth largest exporter of rice in the world.
Types of Aipani
These are the 5 different types of work carried out –
- Uppo (Ploughing)
- Bith idvo (Sowing)
- Anda Kethvo (Bund trimming)
- Agae Pani (Plucking seedlings)
- Naati Pani (Transplanting)
Work Force
The work force for this would be either Mui Aal – Kood Aal or regular wages
