Kechettira Vijay Uthaiah a sportsperson from Kodagu is a State champion who has won several medals in Fencing Championship.

• Won Gold and Silver Medal in (under 17 & 20 age group) state level Fencing Championship conducted from 27^th to 29^th July 2018, Bangalore.
• Won bronze medal in 15th cadet national, held in Cuttack Orissa from 12th to 16th Sept 2018.
