Kokkale

Kokkale is referred to dried leaves in Kodava thakk. Leaves play an important role in most of the plants. They use water, Light and carbon dioxide to survive and for the process called photosynthesis.

Uses

Dried leaves can be collected and used as fertilizers, they can also be dried and bagged them tightly together and store inside the house like in basement, as they act as insulation keeping home warm during winter. The dried leaves act as blanket in keeping soil warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
