Pali mara
Pali mara(Palaguium ellipticum( Dalz.) Baill) one of the native trees in Kodagu grows up to 35 m tall.The leaves are typically spirally arranged and often clustered near twig ends. Flowers are mostly bisexual, Fruits are one or two-seeded with rare instances of several seeds. Usually found in coastal, lowland mixed dipterocarp, swamp and mountain forests.
