Did his schooling in Cavery high school, PU from Murnad College and completed his B.com degree from St Philomina’s college Mysore

Career

He started his cycling career in the year 2008 and rose to become the Head coach of Indian Cycling Team.

Achievements

  • He was placed 4th in team category MTB Himachal international event 780km, (2nd toughest race in the world) in 2009
  • Placed 3rd in individual category MTB Sikkim international event in 2010
  • 2011- Services team selection in road and track cycling
  • Won bronze medal in 120km mass start event, mazzafarpur Bihar (medal to services after 13 long yrs in national championships) in 2012
  • Won bronze medal in 30 km point race in track cycling represented Bihar and helped to qualify the team to national games
  • Represented India in tour de India at Mumbai, Delhi and Srinagar (part of 15 world teams)
  • Represented services in both road and track cycling in 2013
  • Represented India in Asia track cup in Delhi
  • Represented India in Asian championship
  • Represented services in both road and track cycling and India in track Asia cup in 2014
  • Selected for services team in road , qualified for world military games in Korea in 2015
  • Topper of armed forces sports medical Center physical conditioner course in Jan 2016
  • Topper in all India coaching course held in Delhi
  • Topper in Asia level UCI (Union of international cycling) only governing body of world cycling coaching course in June
  • Coach for Indian team for senior elite men and women for Asia track cup 2016 in Delhi
  • Selected as coach for Asian championship held in Delhi during 2017
  • Team manager and team coach of Indian team for world championship in Doha
  • Head coach of Indian team in Asian championship in Bahrain.
