Uluvangada Cauvery Udaya is a multilingual poet and kodava author. Written book in five languages. She is also a dramatist, artist . As a housewife she works in the field of literature and writes under the name of Uluvangada Cauvery Udaya

Education :-

Completed primary education from Parladka Government School Puttur in kannada medium .
8th to 10th standard from St. Victor’s Girls High school Puttur in English medium.
Obtained BCOM degree (second language Hindi) from St. Philomena’s college Puttur.
Along with her mother tongue kodava she was fluent with Kannada, English, Hindi, and Malayalam which was learnt by attending evening tuitions during her college days. She was fond of painting, handicrafts, drawings, dance and writing in her childhood.

Achievements :-

Her writings were published in many papers like Kavery times, Shakti, Brahmagiri, voice of Kodava, Vijaya Karnataka, Belagavi Nadina Samachara patrike and Bangalore Brindavana magazine. She was honoured from many of the associations. Her novels Kodagra Sipayi and and short stories made into movies .
Many of her songs were sung by the singers around and she has written songs for the movies.
Rituals about kodava tribe , ideas on women’s welfare, thoughts about literature and importance of education has been represented by her in many programs.
Resited poem in Mysuru Dasara Bahubhasha and in pancha kaavyothsava samarasa Kavi goshti, Madikeri Dasara Bahubhasha Kavi goshti and Gonikoppa dashara bahubhasha Kavi goshti.

She has written novels, short stories, poems, dramas, devotional , essays, biography , modern vachanas, mukthakas etc in five languages (Kodava, Kannada, English, Hindi and Malayalam ) She has written the history of 32 temples of Kodagu and published them in the book form.
Two of her novels were published in the Brahmagiri weekly and many of her works are yet to be published.
Recited poem in Kodava, Kannada, Hindi, English and yerava languages.
