Palandira K Subbaiah

• PALANDIRA K. SUBBAIAH, (1929 – 1990)

Sri.P.K. Subbaiah was a teacher in Virajpet, Govt. High School before joining the Legal Profession in 1964. Hailing from Virajpet, he had his law degree from Mysore University.

Sri.Subbaiah, a leading Civil advocate was also a popular public figure. He was an active personality in the Co-operative movement in Kodagu district. He was the president of the Kodagu District Co-operative Marketing Fedaration from 1970-77, was the Director of the Honey Society, Virajpet, was a member of Virajpet Taulk Development Board and also served as a member of the Virajpet Taluk Land Tribunal. He expired in 1990 leaving behind his wife, three sons and one daughter.
