Sri. Muktatira P. Nachaiah born in 1920 had his schooling at Devanageri and Virajpet. He did his law at Bombay and joined the legal profession in Virajpet in 1964. He had an active social life also. He was the President of the Lions Club, Virjapet and President of the Honey Growers Co-operative Society. He was soft spoken and a gentle person. He was soft spoken and a gentle person. He breathed his last on 29.8.1997 leaving behind his wife Smt. Seethamma, a son and a daughter.
